Answers from our scholars

A1 · Obstetrics & Gynaecology (OB-GYN)

Rulings and guidance on the female body and reproductive life, grounded in Qur’an, Sunnah and classical fiqh — with medical accuracy checked alongside.
Note: we do not present these as “from the seerah”. The seerah is the Prophet’s ﷺ biography; rulings on ḥayḍ, nifās, breastfeeding and ʿidda come from fiqh and hadith. We keep the sourcing honest.

A2 · Mental & Emotional Wellbeing

Scoped to what women specifically carry. General psychiatric illness is not a “women’s topic”, so we do not file it here — it belongs under Character & Spirituality / Knowledge & Society. What sits here is the perinatal and life-stage burden.
We are not a clinical service. For diagnosis or crisis, please see a qualified doctor. Our scholars offer spiritual and religious guidance alongside your treatment, never instead of it.

B–E · Womanhood in the Seerah

Here the seerah is the right lens — these are lives, not rulings. Khadījah, ʿĀ’ishah, Fāṭimah, Umm Salamah and the women of the first generation, read as models.

Ask freely — you may post anonymously, and sisters’ questions are handled discreetly.

For the team: course entries live in one array — IM_COURSES in this file. Add a new object with status:'soon' to announce an upcoming course, or status:'done' with a report to publish its success report. Nothing here is auto-dated, so nothing will go stale on its own.

On compensation — read this before promising anything.

The sheet proposed paying students of knowledge “perks” out of the Hadiya pool at Purchasing Jannah. We have deliberately not built that here. Volunteering and paid work are two different things, and donor money given for beneficiaries must not quietly become our payroll.

If we later want to pay contributors, it needs to be its own line — a declared operations/stipend fund that donors knowingly give to — and it must never touch Zakat, which has eight fixed categories and does not include “people who did work for us”.

For now: this page collects volunteers. That is all it does, and it says so honestly.
